Celestion是吉他扩音的创始者和英国最古老的音箱厂牌之一，始创于1924年，当时它还是个为音响市场设计制造扬声器的小公司。1932年，Celestion生产了由独立的低音扬声器和高音扬声器组成的的Celestion Reeltone Dual。1948年Celestion被英国Rola公司并购， Celestion就作为该公司产品的注册商标。在英国，超过一半的扬声器都是由Celestion生产的。在50年代后期，Celestion设计出了当红至今的吉他扬声器Celestion Blue，它拥有的独特的过载能力，得到了Beatles等同时代的艺术家的欣赏。

多年来，Celestion致力于制作与不断增长的电功率音箱适配的高质量扬声器，生产出G12扬声器这款高质量的吉他扬声器，受到许多一流的艺术家所喜爱，其中包括Jimi Hendrix，Eric Clapton，The Rolling Stones乐队和Van Halen。
